LAND4CLIMATE represented NBS4EU Horizon Projects at the European Week of Regions and Cities 2025
On Tuesday, 14 October 2025, Prof. Stefan Greiving represented LAND4CLIMATE and all NBS4EU Horizon projects during the session “Peer-to-peer learning on replicating and upscaling nature-based solutions for climate adaptation” at the European Week of Regions and Cities (EWRC) in Brussels.
In his presentation, Prof. Greiving showcased the collective achievements and lessons learned from the NBS4EU projects, highlighting innovative approaches to implementing and scaling nature-based solutions (NBS) for climate adaptation across European regions. He also took part in a panel discussion, contributing insights on how research and practice in the implementation of NBS can come together to support climate-resilient regional development.
The session fostered a rich peer-to-peer exchange among around 50 experts, policymakers, and practitioners, underlining the importance of collaboration, knowledge transfer, and local engagement in advancing NBS across Europe.
We are proud to have contributed to this important dialogue and to represent the shared efforts of the NBS4EU community in promoting NBS as sustainable, climate-adaptive solutions.
