LAND4CLIMATE joins the European Week of Regions and Cities 2025 as part of the NBS4EU cluster
We are pleased to announce that LAND4CLIMATE will take part in the 2025 European Week of Regions and Cities, the EU’s largest annual event focused on regional policy. This year, LAND4CLIMATE will join a joint session alongside fellow Horizon Europe projects from the NBS4EU cluster, including Arcadia, CARDIMED, DesirMed, Mount Resilience, NATALIE and NBRACER, as well as the DIRECTED project.
Our session, titled “Peer-to-peer learning on replicating and upscaling nature-based solutions for climate adaptation,” will explore how nature-based solutions (NBS) can be replicated and scaled up across Europe to support climate resilience. As the NBS4EU projects advance implementation and DIRECTED enters its co-design phase, the session will foster mutual learning across institutional contexts.
Together, we will examine how NBS fit into broader systems approaches that involve complementary financial, governance and technical interventions. We will also share lessons learned about enabling conditions, bottlenecks and opportunities for transdisciplinary collaboration. The session aims to offer practical insights and diverse perspectives on how to mainstream NBS into policy and practice.
