LAND4CLIMATE to Join the 3rd Edition of the C4T Conference in Brussels
LAND4CLIMATE is pleased to announce its participation in the 3rd edition of the C4T Conference, taking place on Wednesday, 25 June 2025, at the Atelier des Tanneurs in Brussels. Organised by DG REGIO and the C4T Secretariat, the event brings together managing authorities, regional and local governments, and key stakeholders involved in implementing investments supported by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the Cohesion Fund (CF).
The conference supports the implementation of Policy Objective 2 of the 2021–2027 Cohesion Policy: “a greener, low carbon transitioning towards a net zero carbon economy.” It provides a platform for exchanging knowledge, sharing practical experiences, and discussing how to align EU funding with sustainability goals.
The second day of the event is open to a broader audience and will feature a series of high-level sessions. The agenda includes in-depth discussions on key themes such as innovative funding strategies that link sustainability with economic competitiveness, nature-based solutions to enhance water resilience, approaches to delivering affordable and energy-efficient housing, and the role of circular economy principles in rethinking waste management.
We are especially pleased to announce that Professor Stefan Greiving, our LAND4CLIMATE project coordinator from TU Dortmund University (TUDO), will be present on Day 2 to represent the project, but as member of the Academic Sounding Board of DG Regio also actively involved in the internal discussions with the thematic working groups under C4T. His participation underscores LAND4CLIMATE’s commitment to supporting regional strategies for climate resilience through nature-based solutions and evidence-based policymaking.
LAND4CLIMATE will actively engage with peers and stakeholders throughout the day, sharing insights and contributing to the broader dialogue on how to strengthen the green transition through EU cohesion funding.
