Join LAND4CLIMATE for its first webinar on Nature-based Solutions on June 30
How do we move from climate risk assessments and regional challenges to actionable Nature-based Solutions? Join LAND4CLIMATE on 30 June for the first webinar of its Nature-based Solutions series:
From Climate Risk to Nature-based Solutions: Methodologies for Identification and Implementation
📅 30 June 2026 | 14:00–15:15 CEST | Online

This webinar will bring together experiences from the Horizon Europe projects LAND4CLIMATE, NBRACER and CARDIMED, alongside regional authorities at the forefront of Nature-based Solutions (NbS) planning and implementation, including Das Land Steiermark (Austria), West Flanders (Belgium) and the Metropolitan Municipality of Izmir (Türkiye).
The three NBS4EU sister projects will present and compare their methodological approaches for identifying, prioritising and planning NbS across diverse landscapes and regional contexts. Particular attention will be given to how these methodologies support decision-making, stakeholder engagement and the transition from climate risk assessments to actionable NbS implementation pathways. Combining practical regional experiences with technical and academic perspectives, the session will explore key questions such as:
- Where do promising NbS concepts most often encounter barriers during planning and implementation?
- What makes an NbS identification methodology practical, robust and useful for regional and local authorities?
- Which critical factors are often overlooked when identifying and prioritising NbS across different territorial contexts?
- How do approaches differ when planning and implementing NbS on public versus private land?
- What lessons can be transferred across regions to accelerate the uptake and scaling of NbS?
