Educational workshop about NBS under preparation
Krásná Lípa is currently preparing an educational workshop to raise awareness of target groups about successfully applied Nature-Based Solutions (NbS).
A functionally and effectively implemented NBS in the immediate vicinity is considered to be the restoration of the Lusatian Lakes after mining activities in the Upper Lusatia region (Saxony), a region bordering the Bohemian Switzerland and Lusatian Mountains regions. The educational workshop will aim to enable participants to see and understand, using the example of the application of various NbS in the Upper Lusatia region, how, where and why NbS are implemented and how they work in practice.
During the workshop, experts will explain to the participants the theoretical and practical aspects of applied NbS. Around 30 people will attend the workshop. Stakeholders concerned will be invited to participate, such as representatives of local governments in Krásná Lípa (the frontrunning region) and Staré Křečany (the replication region), private landowners, representatives of NGOs, representatives of academia and others.
