The Serious Game: Engaging Stakeholders in Nature-based Solutions

In this video, David Ellerbrake, EU Projects Manager at TU Dortmund University, describes the Serious Game, an idea developed by Jan Evangelista Purkyně University (UJEP). The game is designed to model the negotiations and practical bottlenecks that teams face when trying to implement Nature-based Solutions (NbS) on private land. By disseminating the game through the network of Front-Running Regions, LAND4CLIMATE aims to encourage dialogue among landowners, neighbours and municipalities, helping them better understand the practical challenges, competing interests and possible solutions involved in implementing NbS on private land.
